Exercise Forum Thread of the Week

Monday July 7, 2003

A few weeks ago, someone innocently posed the question of whether you can lose fat and gain muscle at the same time. This sparked a heated debate about protein intake that still rages on. How much protein do we really need? Are carbs really that bad for you? Join in the discussion and tell us what you think.

I Know for a fact that you can lose weight and gain muscle (or vica versa). I lost 100lbs and gained 20 lbs of muscle and look great. I was on the Genetix Program and they taught me the right way to lose weight and gain muscle. Both can be done but it has to be done differently for each person.

When you have the right plan they can be very effective.

I don’t think anyone but doctors or professionals can really give an accurate opinion on such an ambiguous topic.

I’ve noticed that since I’ve been losing weight, that there are a lot of bitter jealous people out there that try to keep positive people down

What do you expect from people who are overweight and to lazy to get up and improve themselves.

The only way they can feel better about themselves is to bring other people down !!

(7) Claire says:

Hi,

I don’t know if anyone is even reading this anymore, but I am currently on the Genetix Program.

I have honestly lost 120lbs in 9 months being on this program.

Please don’t call something a scam because you are bitter. This program has changed my whole life and I am very appreciative of all the hard work and time they have spent helping me.

Obviously if you call yourself “scam” it means you dont want to post your real name because you’re just trying to have fun. If you don’t like it or are jealous just don’t say anything, but stop spreading trash just because you can.

Don’t do the Genetix Program!! THIS IS A SCAM! I have proof if anyone is interested in knowing more. I called the guy and we talked several times. I even have an instant message conversation that I saved with this guy, admitting that he was scamming people. DON’T do it! Isn’t it interesting how “Donna” and “Claire’s” comments are similar? Both using the words jealous and bitter…it’s HIM trying to scam you! I don’t want anyone to lose money on this…I almost did!

(9) Brooke says:

Also…when you go to the Genetix Program website…don’t you think it is a little weird that the guy has his CELL phone on there instead of a business line? How professional!

(10) Craig says:

Brooke I don’t mean to be rude, but how old are you? 12?

I was looking at programs and I actually ALMOST believed you. But i’m overweight and really need to find a solution.

I called them up and asked them their program and I even told them upfront that i’m afraid this is all a scam and afraid that I will lose my money.

That’s when they ACTUALLY LET me call people who are on the program RIGHT NOW!!!! and talk to them. NOT just one or two people, but they gave me a list of 30 people all around the country with different phones and addresses and told me to call anyone that I liked and to ask them about the program.

so I did, I called 5 people and each one said they absolutely LOVED the program and how it worked for them.

They also said that they would give medical credentials to my family doctor and speak to them about working with him to help me.

I really don’t know what your deal is, if your mad because someone you know lost weight and you didnt, but I know that I almost didnt do this because of what you put on here. And that would have been a mistake.

If you don’t know what you’re talking about please don’t ruin it for other people.

And if anyone wants to know how i’m doing on this program of to find out that i’m a REAL PERSON and not working for them please email me (craig_forrester9912@yahoo.com) and ill be happy to talk to you like real people did for me.
