Exercise of the Week

If you've been indulging yourself this week with holiday treats, try my exercise of the week: Deadlifts. Deadlifts work multiple the lower back, butt and hamstrings.
Do it right: Start with feet hip-width apart, weight in front of thighs. Keeping back flat, shoulders back and abs in, tip from the hips and lower upper body down keeping bar very close to legs. Lower down as far as you can (according to your flexibility) and slowly raise back up, squeezing your glutes and hamstrings. Keep back flat throughout the movement.
