hey, i have the same problem. s i got this work out vidoe it is really good. i lost about 2 and a half inches. all u do is sugate like you would to sit. hold it for about 30 sec. then up for 3 sec. and do that over and over for 2 mins. u can do longer. do it atlest 3 to 4 times a week. i did it every day for 3 weeks. and lost 2 and a half inchs. on my inner thigh. try it.
hey just get out of the house and work out. like take a walk. or even do work out vidoes u can do those in ur house with no one home or with just family members there. just try it.
everyone out there dont be asamed about how u look. be happy that u are how u are. work out is a great way to lose wieght.

hey, i am 13 and weigh 160 lbs. I LOVE to swim in the summer time which is 4 months away. My tummy is big,my legs are fat, and i feel very selfconcious in a bathing suit. Thats mostly because all my friends do track and are stick skinny. Im not in to track though. I need a workout that will take off about 50-60 lbs and leave me with most of the fat gone in 4 months.

Hey,a suggestion to all of you that want to lose weight, try running or walking(on treadmills or around your neighborhood). I normally go about 6-7mph for a half an hour on my treadmill. I’ve been running every day atleast 2 miles in the last month and i lost 10 pounds and people are telling me i look alot better.

you must diet eat 5 small meals per day stretch them out stay away from fast food(junk foods also) try jumping rope for 10 minutes twice a day then build it up to 30 minutes a day. keep active i know exactly how everyone feels when i was in the 6th grade i weighed 130lbs by the time i got to the 8th grade i was 180lbs. so i know what you are going through. drink plenty of water and if you stay on your diet you will see the results that you want in a matter of weeks

I have a suggestion for kids girls and guys that dont like the traditional sports such as soccer and baseball footbal ect. I do hip hop and taido (a form of karate) hip hops awesome because you can use it at dance parties and its fun to know a cool dance to a popular song and taido is awesome i know how to knee a guy in the crotch so hard and in the right way so hell go down and wont come uo for a while and i know how to punch and i mean really punch them enough to break their nose and to do something called sparring which is like wrestling ecxept with cooler moves! the time i spend doing these things isnt a workout to me its my play time! its awesome and guys and girls of all ages and sizes can do these sports so if your like me and cant stand to play traditonal sports try these there really fun!

Well…I recently lost alot of wight on my stomach area and now i have a smaller waist but i really want to loose weight from my thighs and face (i have chubby cheeks) do you have a small workout plan that could help me out???
I have learned about a plan that helps burn fat, and build muscle, and I want to share it with everyone here, it is called a “week-up plan” you see how many pushups and situps you can do,then starting the next monday, you do that number of each, three dimes a day for that week, in the morning, noon (or after you get home from school or w/e) and night. you dont do anything on sunday so your body can recover, than, the next monday, add either one or two to the number you started out with and use that number that week, and go on from there. I have started it, and I am noticing amazing improvements, also dont be afraid of eatting too much duing this, you body will actually use it instead of putting it to fat.
I was born below weight and also shorter than average. I’m 18 years old, 5ft 4inch, 110lb’s. I’m skinny obviously and have tried exercising to become bigger but i don’t know exactly how to start. I want to do a full body work out but not one that makes me look huge, just a nice body and pretty toned muscles, you know. ok so you cannot lose 20 pounds in one month…its not healthy!! to lose weight you need to exercise..try running..just one mile a day will work!! and then build up! its fun too. get off the couch and MOVE!! most of u are all kids so dont give up COMPLETELY on junk..YOUR A KID!!![or teenager] but limit how much..and a HIGE helper:

Hi, I’m Cassie I’m only 17, both prom and summer are coming up. I want to look my best so I work out a lot, about 5 times a week, I don’t lift anything just mostly cardio and abs work out. I’ve gained 6 pounds of muscle and my prom dress is fitting tighter. ok… for all of you people who want to lose like 25-50 lbs in 2-4 weeks, you shouldnt! If you are really looking to lose that much weight, you need to make some long term changes. It isnt healthy to drop that much weight that fast. I would suggest starting a sport like soccer or basketball, where you are constantly moving. Watch what you eat, not so much soda and junk food and more fruits and veggies. Also, GET OUTTA THE HOUSE!!! Whether your walking your dog or running on a track, just get moving.

guys jus chill out…all u need is some excersice at the gym…4 times a week for about 1-2 hrs. not everyday, unless u wanna get skinny. rotate around different muscle groups throughout the week to help u lose weight or gain muscle fast…heres my schedule for guys who want to build muscle fast..trust me i got a trainer at my gym and he told me this for guys who want cut/toned muscle. im 14 and weigh 120 lbs so its good for thin guys who want muscle as well as bulky guys:
day1) chest workouts- bench press/ dumbell presses/dumbell flyes
day2) bicep/tricep workouts- dumbell curls/ hammer curls/ tricep extensions
day 3) take a day off
day 4) shoulder,upper back workouts- shoulder dumbell presses/ dumbell shrugs
day 5) chest workouts- same as above
day 6-7) take the days off
tip- try to fit in 200 abdominals around your workout days for a quick six pack
now i need to gain 10 lbs, so any suggestion to help, cuz i got a fast metabolism= i burn cal. fast

You guys, please listen. People come on all shapes and sizes. The numbers on the scale are not what you should use to determine if you are overweight or not.
You are growing kids! veryone when they are growing has times when they are a bit rounder(when the growth slows) but then your hieght increases and you naturally slim down, not because you’re losing weight, but because you are getting taller.
When I was in 4th grade, I was 100 pounds. I thouhg I was a beast. I wasn’t though, by my perception was so negative that I could have weighed 50 pounds and still thought I was fat.
You can’t get thin in a week or even a month. You shouldn’t lose more than a pound to a pound and one half a week. Simply cutting your calories by 500 would do that without exercise. If you want to lose more, increase your activity. Walk 30 minutes. everyday. Do some situps while you watch TV. Any extra movement you can do will benefit your body as well as your mood.
Being a couch potatoe will not help you improve your health. Turn off the TV. Step away from the computer. Put the video games away. Go play football with your friends. Volleyball, even going and playing racketball by yourself would be better than sitting around.
What do you eat? McDonalds? Microwaved food? Convenience foods are loaded in fat and calories. Calories are not bad as long as they are limited and beneficial. Eating an apple with 100 calories is better than 2 cookies with the same calories.
You are what you eat. If you eat fat, you will be fat. If you eat healthy, you will be healthy.
No gimmick diets will work. If they did, everyone would be in shape. Look around! DO you see perfect bodies everywhere you go? Of course not.
The only way to get in shape is to improve your diet. That does NOT mean starving yourself. Just choose wisely. Diet foods are not necessarily better. WHat they omit in fat they replace with sugar. Fat = flavor. Take away the fat and you have bland food.
Celery is a great snack food. It has negative calories meaning it takes more calories for your body to digest it than are actually in it. I like to put crunchy peanut butter on celery.
Quit comparing yourself to others. A person who is 6 feet tall and 100 pounds will look much thinner than someone who is 5 feet tall and 100 pounds.
If you need to lose some body fat, make better food choices and get up and move. It’s the onlyw ay you will get it off and keep it off. You have to change your lifestyle, period.

okay first of all, all you who are saying i need to lose 25 pounds without dieting… try exercising and watching what you eat, no diet required just a little effort. Try doing something with yourself instead of sitting on the computer saying you need something. Theres not going to be an miracle workout, you have to commit to it. Run for a half a hour every day and you will notice a change quickly, stop drinking pop and you will lose weight, stay away from fast foods and drink green tea or get pills. They help with the energy burn.

Honestly reading all these…i talked to a doctor about dieting and such. this is a known fact, 80% of losing weight is through eating healthy and right. 20% is through excercise.
a good workout is with a pedometer, take 10,000 steps a day everyday. do not eat any rice, bread, or pasta. i did this for about 1-2 months. i lost around 10-15 lbs. it of course takes time. not only did i do 10,000 steps i went to the gym and worked out.
if you want to tone your stomach and lose some of that fat, i suggest just normal situps. i started forming a 4 pack doing 400 sit-ups daily.

Tom, read this: Eat healthy and 1 and a half miles of walking is good. thats all really healthy. if you want to lose man boobs, consider doing some pushups, and gym machines that work the pecs. and increase the amount of running/walking. i know people who run a lot, but losing weight is more than just running/walking. consists of other various excercises.

Hey everyone, I understand how you all feel, when I was 11,12, I weighed 155 pounds and some points I’d go up to 160 or 165. The good news is most of you are still young adults. My basic problem was I loved to eat. As soon as my parents would go out I would raid the fridge. The summer that I was 12, it was may and I always felt concious because I was really lonely, people abandoned me, I know it wasn’t right for them to exclude me for my looks. I decided maybe they were right, in a way. I never really understood why I ate so much, I danced for 9 and a half years but I was still pretty chunky. So I took matters into my own hands and walked around my survey for about 2km every night sometimes I even did two rounds. At that time my mother was on weight Watchers and loves to walk too. So I had a support system we were a team. It’s always good to have someone else whos going through the same thing in it with you. If you’re struggling just find someone you know that might work out with you once a day for an hour. To get back to the story, I began to eat less and feel more active and prone to eating healthier because my metabolism sped up and didn’t know what to do but to burn all the calories. I’m an ectomorph (small framed) and she’s and mesomorph(miedium framed) and she knows it but never really pays any attention. but anyways stop feeling bad about yourself because you’re not JUST LIKE your friends! It’s ok! We’re all different and just face it!!! If some calls you fat then just tell to shut up. Heck they are most likely annorexoic little skanks!

I’m sixteen and need to loose about ten pounds to be at a healthy weight. I’m 5′5″-ish and weigh about 150 lbs. How can I loose this weight in two months without starving myself, wearing myself out, or stunting my growth (I’m also on a growth spurt).
alright, the main thing is people need to excercise more. I know its harder with how our cities are built, all spread out, it seems like you need a car to get anywhere but first off you should incorporate natural excercise into your day. walk to school instead of getting your parents to drive (if its within a 1 and a half miles or so), walk to friends houses if possible ans so forth. Next, an excercise routine should start off slow. I am assuming most of you are begginers when it comes to excercise, so start off with a manageable chunk of light jogging, like 1 mile. over time you should slowly increase that amount, as well as the time you spend jogging. Same goes for jump rope (its a high-impact activity though so if your knees arent solid dont do it). start off with about 10 minutes, and then bump up the time and intensity. The main thing is dont take too big a bite early on, or else you’ll burn out.
I started excercising on my own for football and started off with running a mile, and after about 3 weeks i could run 4 miles easy without getting tired. I wasnt very fat to begin with, maybe a little chubby but now im leaner and trimmer, and combined with my strength training i really havent lost much weight, but i look and FEEL alot better, and the feeling better part is more important IMO. (im about 5′8″ 160, was 165 but lost some fat and gained some muscle).
i hope this can help, i really do. stat strong and committed, set aside some time to excercise, dont cheat (your only hurting yourself when you do that), and start slowly, increasing as you become acclimated to excercise.

Ok people i’ve got loads of ideas for you people.1.Everyday work out on treadmill or bicicyle or walk or run outside.Doing that everyday will probably make you feel better and lose a couple of pounds doing that.2.If your into sports you can change that fat into muscle.But then you’ll probably weigh still a pretty good amount because muscle is heavier then fat.But having some fat is good for you because thats how fluids pass through your body so you don’t get dehydrated.Do sports and always stretch before everything or stretch everyday so you don’t accidently hurt a muscle or something while weight lifting or running or walking.I love sports so just play any sport, but my favorite is playing fullback in football.Do something that you like to do that gets you off your butt lol.And stick to it.

I have a couple of tricks that help when trying to lose weight:
1) Eat small meals 6 times per day
2) Chew slowly
3) Drink lots of water
4) When you eat and don’t exercise it turns into fat, so try taking a 30 min walk once or twice a day. And if you don’t like running or playing sports then try and figure out something that you’d enjoy. I hate running because I don’t like the fact that everyone can see me. So instead I like to run up and down my stairs (when no one is home hehe). It’s worked so well for me. After I like to do some pushups (I do girl pushups, easier for me) and situps.

There are lots of good advice already on here. Instead of keeping repeating everything else that is on here, just look at what other people are saying. As far as psycology goes, the more you think you are “FAT” the less anything is going to help. Wanting to lose 20-30 lbs fast is ridiculous and unhealthy. For the ones who want to be toned- that is a much better way of looking at yourself. Get off of the couch or bed or chair, and start walking. Walk as much as you can everyday. When you feel like you have lost weight, but have stopped losing, that’s when you GRADUALLY use weights. Great exercises are lunges, oblique crunches, leg raises,squats and the old fashioned jump rope. As far as exercises, you have to be able to do them and do them correctly. Start with swimming, hiking, yoga, and/or pilates. Then get into something more vigorous as rock climbing, marital arts, kick boxing etc. I hope this helps others, but if no one reads and then puts down “I’m fat I need to lose 15 pounds quick. Help me!” No one can’t help if they don’t read what others have posted. I recommend watching Tyra Banks show- it helps you boost self esteeme. I am 130 lbs and 5′6″ and my BMI is 21.0. I AM healthy and my complaint is just getting stronger. I know what to do, and so does everyone else on here. Motivation is the part where we all need the help with. When you work out, be with a friend who wants to get in shape like you.

I am 6 ft weight 165lbs and am 16 years old I’m not fat and I haven’t been able to play football so I’m not tone.. I also want to gain 30lbs in 3 or 4 months and the only way to do that is hit the weight room and if you think your stomach isn’t tone enough and hate doing crunches then do Planks and when those start to get easy do one arm planks. You can also do supermans.
How to do planks lay on your stomach then lift your body up with your forearms, like a push up just on your fore arms now hold your body potion and keep you butt down and back straight and hold for 30 seconds to a minute. and then repeat 2-6 times
how to do supermans:
lay on your stomach and then put your arms out in front of you then on the count of three lift your arms and legs off the ground like your flying but keep them straight make sure your elbows and knees aren’t touching the ground hold for a minute to two minutes and then repeat 2-6 times do it as much as you can every day. The more you do of each exercise is better.

Guys you should care about the way you look, but not to the extent that it is becoming something you are upset about or just doing because people call you fight i get called fat all the time. my best suggestion is to try meal supplements in addition to working out, i work out about 5 times a week, and alternate an hour of cardio and an hour of weights with yoga after three times a week. watch fit tv, get the pre-mixed muscle milk and slurp it down before school. pack granola for an after school snack, when you watch tv, do a crossword puzzle to keep your hands busy and not wanting to snack. and drink lots and lots of water, it will fill you up. its an awkward age, but i promise you will all grow out of it.
Hello I’m 15 I weigh 210 pounds and I’m type 2 diabetic. I recently lost about 5 pounds but that miracle only happend because I take my meds. The sad thing is I haven’t always been overweight. I began to gain it all when I was around 10 or 11. I understand how you guys feel, but it seems like some of the expectations are unrealistic.
I would suggest consulting a physician first (you can never be too safe).If you decide not to, then find your BMI, as this will help you figure out what weight category you should be in for your age/height/body type. (there are many online BMI calculators)
Remember to have REALISTIC expectations,
but most of all, be positive about your body.
Trashing your own body is as bad as doing it to someone else.

Hi everyone, my name is Zipora and im 13 years old. Im around 135-140 and I’m about 5′4. It may sound fat but I actually don’t look half bad if i do say so myself =] I’ve been reading a few comments left by girls around my age and I think that it’s sickning that they are this age and want to loose so much weight. I know I’m a little overweigfht and it wouldn’t hurt to lose a couple of pounds but come on now, there’s a limit. We’re teenagers and we need to live life not worry about what everyone thinks. Some people can eat a lot and still be skinny thats there metabolism and we can’t do anything about it. Just because your friends are all skinny doesn’t mean you have to be like them to. We were all made differently for a reason and we all are still pretty. I can see if you are really overweight and its a health issue or you just want to lose a couple of pounds but you have to stay realistic here. Just be happy in the skin your in and be thankful that your weight isn’t a health issue for all those girls out there that are like 13-16 around 120-140 and want to lose lik 15+ pounds. Trust me you dont have to have a completly flat stomuach just to wear a two peice bathing suit. Stop looking at magazines and using that as your guide to life. THATS NOT REAl ! Well i know I’m writing like a whole essay here but I just want my fellow teenagers to know that we are too young to be stressing all of these superficial things like loseing massive amounts of weight. To those of you worried about a little bit of weight…
(1) don’t obcess about it..you’re young, enjoy yourself, be happy….!
(2)Love yourself just the way you are_if you can’t love yourself others won’t either (this is something I always keep in mind.
(3)Diet and exercise go hand in hand_ don’t starve yourself, just try to eat your fruits and vegetables. Sneak in some basic exercises maybe 3x a week.
I’m 24 right now. I was about 150 lbs. at 15 years old. Went up to 180 while pregnant. I am down to 137 lbs, by eating healthier and smaller portions, as well as exercising when I have time. It took some time…but with persistence you can do it!

Hey, wow alot of people have weight problems i never thought they’re was many, sometimes i feel like the only one, everyone else is so skinny, or just Perfect! I hate it! What I’ve started doing is when my parents are not home i dance around for about 30minutes and sometimes on my free time i know it sounds lame but i clean my room and help out around the house to get off my butt! also, my mom joined the gym and since i’m 13 i’m able to go with her so, hopefully i will keep it up! you guys should try these things too if you’d like. I know how all of you guys/girls feel! I really hope everything works out!

savanna–94 is like annerexic! you are at a fine weight now and people who are your age and under 110 pounds just look really skinny and gross. I wouldnt recommened loosing that much weight!!

most of you wanna reduce your body weight means you aware and put up the first step.Main thing you should understand is that losing body weight wont happen in over night.Be dedicated on few Ab excersises and more concentrate on your diet.My suggestion is cardio excersise,Plank ,Crunches and leg raises would be more effective.This is just 10%.Remaining 90% ,you should concentrate on your diet.

I have a pretty good body right now and I’m not looking to lose a whole bunch of weight but I really would like to tone a few things on my body. I really want a completely flat stomach, my bottom Is okay but since I’m going to be going all out I’d like something to tighten/lift It. My legs are pretty nice but my inner thighs are a little thicker than I’d like. and the most important thing to me right now Is, I have this lose skin under my armpits I hate It — It hangs over my bra and I don’t like wearing tank tops It’s gross. I want a work out that will take care of all those flaws. keep In mind I work out everyday so I long term workout would be nice. thanks =))
