Exercise of the Week: Lat Stretch on the Ball
Monday March 28, 2005
The ball can be a great tool for stretching since it
allows you to manipulate your body to go a little deeper. This stretch is
great for the lats (the muscles on either side of your back). Do it
right: Stand in front of ball and place the side of the right hand on the ball (thumb pointing up like a karate chop). Roll the ball towards the left while keeping the hips square. Hold for 3-5 breaths and switch to the other side. Keeping your hips from moving will help you deepen the stretch. Visit my Relaxing
Stretch on the Ball workout for more ideas.
