Stick With Your Exercise Program

In the past few years, the YMCA came up with a novel idea to keep exercisers from dropping out--an exercise program called Coach Approach with a focus on forming the exercise habit first and losing weight later. It takes into account your mental tolerance to exercise as well as your physical tolerance, which is crucial for sticking with it.

This is an idea I try to practice with my own clients, but it's hard to stay in the moment when we're so focused on future physiological results. So, how can you make exercise a habit that will endure? Use these tips to stick with your exercise program:
