If you're trying to lose fat, you already know to exercise and eat healthy. But, what you may not think about is being more active in general. Sure, structured exercise is good for fat loss but general movement is also important. What's great about this ambient activity is that it's easy to sneak into your life without too much effort. Try these simple ways to move around more:
  • Take a walk around the block after meals
  • Pace while you talk on the phone
  • Use a pedometer
  • Sit on an exercise ball while you watch TV
  • Sneak in a little yoga at work
