Recently, I extended a challenge to you...namely, to crank up your lower body workouts with my Lower Body Challenge featuring both bilateral and unilateral moves. You may have been concerned that I was neglecting your upper body. If that's the case, you can rest a little easier knowing that your upper body will be just as challenged in this week's new workout.

Like the lower body workout, this new Upper Body Challenge combines bilateral moves such as bench presses and barbell rows with unilateral moves like one-armed flies and dumbbell rows. To make this workout even more challenging, I've also highlighted exercises using different types of resistance including barbells, dumbbells and resistance bands. And, if you're paying attention, you might also notice a new pushup that will really challenge both your upper body muscles as well as your core. By alternating these different types of exercises and resistance, you'll enjoy a workout that moves quickly and includes some great variety.
