We are naturists and we work out at the gym at our resort au naturel.
I pretty much wear loose fitting cloths. Sometimes I wear bluejeans with a comfortable shirt.
I wear tank tops and dickie shorts. It’s the most comfortable out fit I have.
The answers are misleading because what I wear sometimes depends on the kind of workout. If in the aerobic phase, I am biking, I’ll wear bike shorts for the weight lifting portion. Other times I might start with sweats and shed items as I warm up. Too bad if some folks think I have mismatched clothing. Whatever.
I nearly always train at the gym in loose running shorts (with a liner) and a form-fitting bra top or a sports bra with a short sleeve tee. So I guess I wear both loose and tight. Works for me.
It really depends on my mood and what time of the month it is. I do perfer form fitting pieces that help pull away moisture.
I would love to design gym clothes for women! T-shirts with a built in bra, a tennis-type skirt with attached leggings, only longer to cover hips. I wear loose capris with a longer bra top, not too tight. Form fitting is only nice if you have the form. Some of us don’t yet, and would like to hide as much as we can. Why don’t retailers get that??
I usually wear loose basketball shorts and a form fitting underarmor or nike “dri-fit” shirt, since I like my shirts to be light they are a better choice then a regular t-shirt IMO
When I do cardio kickboxing, I find I have to wear bike shorts and a form fitting top - if not anyone can see everything when we’re doing side kicks of leg work on the ground. I can’t tell you how much I hate looking up to see another person’s underwear or thong.
It all depends on the mood. Its always Basketball style shorts, and some type of dri-fit, either with sleves or with out. Its too bad people focus on what people wear in the gym, and not on the real reason thay are there, The Workout!
The price of gym memberships dont leave me any money to buy GYM clothes so I wear whatever is on top in my drawer. I don’t care what others are wearing I’m there for a workout not a fashion show.
I found a pair of gym pants for $10 at Target, they are form fitting but comfortable and I have lost enough inches and weight to where they actually look good [otherwise I would not even go out in them]..and a 100% cotten tee..works for me.
I use to wear baggy clothes because that is how I looked at my body. As my body changed so did my clothes, I am now wearing loose fitting lycra pants and form fitting bra top. I am always coordinated, but that is just me. It doesn’t bother me to see others dressed in what ever. To each their own.
On my cycling days, I wear a sports bra and a form fitting bottom. I sweat alot. However when I workout I used to wear shorts but found that it shows way too much when doing certain exercises. So I wear form fitting bottoms with a wife beater or a form fitting shirt and sports bra underneath with high tops.
I wear a combination of both loose and form fitting. Sometimes the top is loose while the bottom is formfit, and vice versa, but usually never both the same.
Black lycra spandex for the lower body workouts days. Spandex works cool for serious cardio too. Usually looser shorts on upper body days. Cotton tops. I know some people have a prob with a straight dude wearing spandex, but I like it and I keep myself in good shape, so I wear it.
I do a lot of cardio, followed by a lot of weight lifting. Black lycra spandex shorts work best.
HEY LOOK PEOPLE SHOULD WEAR WHAT THEY FEEL LIKE BUT I WILL SAY THIS I WEAR SPANDEX ALL THE TIME I LIKE WEARING THEM THEY ARE TIGHT ON ME AND I THINK I HAVE THE BODY TO WEAR THEM BUT ON HOT DAYS LIKE TODAY 7-10-07 AND IT BEING 102 THAT IS JUST NOT GOING TO WORK FOR ME BUT IF IT WAS LIKE 84 I WOULD WEAR THEM SPANDEX IS THE THING TO WEAR ANY ONE CAN WRITE ME OR EMAIL ME AT kingofspandex@yahoo.com
I’m male and i prefer to wear spandex workout wear. I find it comfortable, it moves sweat from my body and supports my muscles which helps with endurance. They are tight and i don’t wear anything under them so they don’t rub and get irritated. Spandex is the way to go for me. And if more people had the guts to try it i think they would say the same!
Lycra wrestling bodysuits for me at the gym. It is pretty simple, if you have the body flaunt it, if not then stick to the baggy fashion. Only problem with this is that it tends to work the other way.
Depends on what class i do:
RPM/ Cycle - Bike tights and a form fitting sleeveless or a crop top - depending on mood.
Bodyattack/Bodypump - Crop top and shorts or a form fitting top and shorts
