New Video Reviews for BOSU, Step and Cardio

Wednesday November 7, 2007
This morning, I woke up with two cats huddled under the covers, one on my feet and one on my head...a sure sign that it's cold outside and my days of sleeping without fur tickling my nose are over. The cold weather also means that many of us are moving our workouts indoors and some of you may be in the midst of updating your exercise video library to get through the long winter months.

This week, I've got some new ideas for you if you're looking for some new cardio videos. Check them out:

BOSU Blast with Seasun Zieger. This DVD actually includes two workouts, but the BOSU Balance Trainer is the only one reviewed. This BT routine is a big favorite of mine. It's one of the few challenging BT cardio workouts out there. If you have a BT and you want a tough workout, you might give this one a try.

Gin Miller's Simply Interval. A few years ago, Gin Miller put out a fabulous interval step workout (called Intense Moves) that everyone loved. Her sequel, Simply Interval, isn't as good as Intense Moves, but it's still a great workout and even beginners may be able to try this workout, although more advanced exercisers will get a great workout as well.

Total Body Cardio Fitness. This hi/lo aerobic workout is for beginners or for anyone with two left feet. The music is great, the moves are simple and this is the perfect way to get started with exercise videos.

For more, check out my Top 10 Cardio Videos and be sure to leave a comment if you have a favorite video or workout you'd like to share.

Hi there — I enjoyed reading your Top 10 Cardio picks, but was disappointed that some of them can no longer be purchased (eg #10 by Kristin Kagen). What are your top 10 current videos?
