myGoals.com recently released their New Year's resolution predictions for 2008 and it's no surprise that the most popular goals fall under the health and fitness category. In fact, the number one goal is to lose weight.

What about you? Do you set New Year's resolutions and, if so, what do you want to accomplish in the coming year when it comes to health and fitness? Vote in this week's poll and tell us about it.

To lose weight and get into better condition, more importantly I want to publish a book, raise my chess rating, and go out with Francine Dee. I belive in setting a lot of resolutions so that I can achieve at least 1.

I have a list of 101 things to do in 1001 days. I started in october and will be “done” by July 22, 2009. I guess my resolution is just to get some things crossed off!

My resolutions are extensions of past resolutions. I didn’t lose all the weight I wanted last year so that goal extends into this year. I want to increase my exercise plans by becoming more regular with exercise.Like last year, I ran in a 5K. This year I will also run but I intend to break my own record. Instead of running the 5K in 55 minutes, I hope to improve that by running it in 50 minutes this year.

After success with last year’s resolution (learn more about yoga), I am feeling optimistic!!

This year–be more mindful of the choices I make and to not react in the usual manner.

I’ve lost the weight before but put it back on with the baby. I want to get back to pre-baby condition; 18% bodyfat, my squat back to 550lbs, and back to running 5miles. Be a better wife, not so demanding, and not stress so much over the little things.

I don’t make new year’s resolutions. This is just an easy day to get back into the healthier eating and more exercise routine. My resolution, if any, is to get one year younger this year! (by living healthier–and it can be done!)

Learn Geography! I realized recently that I had forgotten nearly everything I had learned about U.S. and world geography. I don’t want to be one of those people on the street who can’t identify China on a map! The internet has great interactive games and I am getting better every day.
