Spice Up Your Gym Workouts

We're at the weird, in-between season with cold weather, warm weather and, for many of us, lots of rain. If you're still stuck inside with your workouts, maybe it's time to spice things up with some new music and some new workouts:

  • Nike Sport Music. Would it motivate you to work harder if Lance Armstrong were whispering in your ear? What about Serena Williams? If so, check out these Nike workout mixes. The music is great and you get a little motivation from your favorite athlete.
  • Cardio Coach 7. I've always been a huge fan of Cardio Coach and I rarely do a treadmill workout without coach Sean O'Malley's excellent guidance. CC 7 is my all-time favorite, a challenging (and long!) interval workout that will really help you push your limits.
  • Interval Training - Hills & Sprints. If you're bored with the same old same old, this interval workout will have you changing your settings throughout the workout to keep you focused and challenged.
  • High Intensity Interval Training. Wendy offers some great ideas for creating your own interval walking workout. Intervals help you burn more calories, which can help you lose more weight.
How do you spice up your gym workouts? Leave us a comment and tell us about it.
