Reduce Your Stress

April is stress awareness month, but I think most of us are pretty aware of how stressed out we are. I'm pretty sure most of us would be less stressed if we could spend the majority of time sitting on a beach and eating peeled grapes. Until we find a way to do that, we'll have to de-stress the old-fashioned way...by taking it out on our spouses.

I'm kidding, of course. Mostly. But, seriously, reducing stress can be as simple as stopping throughout the day to take deep breaths or as complicated as quitting your job to move to a deserted island. You may not even realize how stressed you are and how much it's affecting your quality of life until you take steps to do something about it. Even if you just take a few minutes today to stop and close your eyes, that may be enough to slow you down. Other ideas:
