So, what happens when you end up with a few more pounds to lose but you just can't seem to get rid of them? Should you keep struggling or should you change your goal weight to match where you are? After all, if you have a solid workout program you enjoy and a healthy diet that keeps you well-fed and happy, maybe the weight you're at is good enough.

Took off 27 pounds in the last six months ! Eat Right ! Exercise ! now we are tweaking my workout to squeeze every last calorie burn from it. Tough but worth it for sure.
I lost 27 lbs in the first two months, of starting my workout routine. I haven’t lost an ounce since (another 30 would be nice).
The good news is that I continue to lose inches. My clothes are all too big, and I feel great.
I was BIG to start with, and I am still BIG, but finding a way to jumpstart another loss would be wonderful.
When one has lost inches in height, do you figure your weight based on your lower height or your old higher height?
I stopped weighing myself years ago because I was driving myself nuts with it-weighing every time I went in the bathroom and having a fit if I’d gained a pound or two during the day.I haven’t owned a bathroom scale in 10 years. I only get weighed when I have to see my doc about something. I am 51 years old have been over weight most of my adult life. I have tried and failed many times to get to a normal weight. This time -it’s different. I was able to change my life by quitting smoking 8 years ago so I know I can get healthy and STAY that way. I want to enjoy the second half of my life. I started a strenuous workout routine, quit eating fast food and have made a serious effort to eat better. To track my progress, I have been measuring myself every monday morning. In 6 weeks, I have lost 28 inches! I have no clue how much I weigh, but my clothes look better on me and my “pooch” is shrinking-woo hoo! After week 5 I decided to shake up my routine by adding sprints to my morning walk-it felt GREAT to run for the first time in years. I’m no expert, Michael, but I think your body has gotten used to what you’re doing and you need to shake it up by doing something different. Add 5 minutes to your walk, add spurts of fast walking to your walk, stop and do some jumping jacks a few times during your walk- I don’t know what you’re doing for exersize, but you see what I mean. I appreciate the way you explain about exercise because every body can not understand medical trems and solid words, to understand them more difficult then exercise.
