New Video Review: Strike Zone Kickboxing Workout by Tracey Staehle

Wednesday September 17, 2008
With the w-i-n-t-e-r season on the way (spelling it out takes away its power, if you didn't know), home exercisers might want to start thinking about updating the old video library with some new titles. Tracey Staehle's Strike Zone is a good choice if you're an intermediate or advanced exerciser looking for a new kickboxing workout.

Tracey's combos are fun and include a great variety of punches and kicks. The video isn't perfect - there are some quality issues and they don't always stay on the beat but, overall, I liked this workout. It's definitely one that grows on you. To learn more, check out my review and leave a comment if you have a favorite kickboxing video.

I did this workout ONE time and ended up turning it off right before the last drill. It did not get my heart rate up at all. It moves too slow. I love slow and controlled kickboxing but this one did not deliver. There was ONE segment with kicks I liked but it only lasted 4 minutes. If you are looking for a good sweatfest workout- her cardio sweatfest is better than this one.
