New E-Course - Postpartum Weight Loss Program

Wednesday November 12, 2008
When my sister was pregnant with her 7th child (yes, seven), one of her other little ones looked at her growing belly and said, "Is that really a baby in there?" When we said yes, she looked down at her own little stomach and asked, "How does a whole baby fit in your belly?"

That's a question many new mothers wrestle with - how will my body accommodate a human being and, more importantly, what will happen to this body once I have the baby?

The postpartum body is a mysterious thing and no two women are alike. Some women bounce back to pre-pregnancy weight relatively quickly while others may need several months or even years to fully recover. Some of the changes you experience in weight, body fat and even the structure of your hips may make postpartum weight loss frustrating, but one thing you can do to speed things along is exercise.

It's hard to come up with a fitness program after you've had a baby - how do you find the time or the energy? What should you be doing? If you need a little help getting started, my latest e-course, Postpartum Weight Loss Program provides a 7-week exercise program to get you back on the road to fitness and health. Check it out and see what you think.

Use exercise as mom/baby bonding time! I did squats and lunges while holding my daughter. It helped put her to sleep and gave me a lower body workout. Also, a jogging stroller is a great investment. You can find used ones in good condition on sites like craigslist.

the body will looks so nice, but what about the mother responsibility to give the baby “natural milk” ?
