Just in case you're still looking for holiday gifts or, if you're selfish like me, shopping for others but finding all the cool stuff for yourself, below are a few interesting fitness gift ideas for those hard to buy for exercisers.
- ZIPFY Freestyle Mini Luge - Now this is something I'd like to see in my stocking this year, except for the fact that I only sled when it's 80 degrees outside. This mini luge is smaller than a typical sled and has a handle so you can steer it.
- StreetStrider - This is also something I'd like to see in my stocking this year because it looks cool. It's like a bike except you don't sit...or maybe it's like an outdoor elliptical trainer with wheels...either way, it's nice to see something different out there that isn't so strange none of us would ever consider using it.
- F1 Smart Treadmill - Some folding treadmills can be a little flimsy, but this one is sturdy and what I like about it is that you can connect to the Life Fitness Virtual Trainer website for workouts and you can connect your iPod to it.
- Paper Shower - This is the kind of weird product I tend to love. It's, as the website says, the "first combination wet and dry towelette pack. It is designed to provide a refreshing body wipe when on the go." I don't know if you should give it as a gift but, I have to admit, I would actually like something like this. But I'm weird.
- GeoPalz Activity Tracker - If you have kids, they probably want something cool like a new Cabbage Patch Kid or the latest Weeble Wobbles (I might be slightly out of date with what kids like these days), but the GeoPalz Activity Tracker might make a cute stocking stuffer. It tracks their steps and, the more steps they take, the more points they get. They can trade their points in for prizes like Frisbees, jump ropes, baseball bats and footballs.
