It is impossible to 'lengthen' your muscles without a surgical procedure. You can make your muscles bigger or smaller and you can make your muscles more flexible with yoga and Pilates, but you can't lengthen them. Think of it this way...if your muscles actually grew longer, wouldn't your bones have to grow too?
Note: Yoga and
Pilates are great for reducing stress, increasing flexibility and working on
your balance and torso strength. But, it won't change the length of your
muscles.
