Rear Delt Row with Band

How to Do It

In split stance, loop resistance band around a STURDY object. Facing the pole, stand in a split stance and hold handles in each hand. Slowly bend arms and pull elbows back until they are even with your body, elbows at 90 degrees. Squeeze your shoulder blades together and slowly return to starting position. Make sure your arms remain parallel to the floor and your abs are in tight to support your spine. Repeat for 1-3 sets of 12-16 repetitions, switching legs with each set. To make the exercise harder, stand further away from the pole.

This exercise works the upper back, the back of the shoulders and the arms.
