WHO WAS THE GREATEST FITNESS INSPIRATION OF THE LAST CENTURY?

In honor of the new millennium, I conducted a poll here at About.com to find who inspired people to eat right, exercise, and get in shape the most.  Certain people have personified fitness over the years, and it's time to recognize them.

Would people have started working out with no Jack Lalane or Arnold?  Would there be aerobics without Dr. Kenneth Cooper?   Would fitness videos be the rage without Jane Fonda?  Would we really care as much about what we eat with no Covert Bailey?  Would you really sweat to the "Oldies" without Richard Simmons?  Would you really want to punch and kick air so much without Billy Blanks?  Would you be reading this feature without me?

The answer to all of these questions could be yes, and it could be no.  I guess it's all relative, but nobody can doubt their impact on today's fitness trends.  I am going to review each candidate from the smallest to largest percentage of votes.
