WHO WAS THE GREATEST FITNESS INSPIRATION OF THE LAST CENTURY?
Covert Bailey #8 - 4% of votes
In all fairness to Covert, he was a late addition. Covert has written many books that have helped a lot of people become healthier and more fit. You can see some of his books in my bookstore. He is a true pioneer in health and fitness. One of his books was actually the text book for my health and fitness class in college.
Jason Daniel Henderson, C.P.T. #7 - 7% of votes
I am shocked at this result! I only added my name as a joke. I thought I would get maybe a few votes from friends, but nothing like this. God bless all those who voted for me. I have been the About.com (formerly MiningCo.com) Guide to Exercise since about the end of July 98. I have loved every minute of it. I enjoy helping people, and this medium has only increased that beyond my wildest dreams. Thanks for all your support. You can check out my resume' of extra curricular activities if you like.
Dr. Kenneth Cooper #6 - 8% of votes
Dr. Cooper is the godfather of aerobics. He is head of The Cooper Aerobics Center in Dallas, TX. We spoke of him often in Exercise Physiology class in college. Through his company, he has conducted much of the research that has proven much of aerobic's benefits. When one thinks of aerobics, one must think of Dr. Kenneth Cooper.
Billy Blanks #5 - 9% of votes
The found of Tae Bo Boxing just won't stop. He has inspired millions to get fit who once thought that exercise was boring. By combining martial arts and aerobics, he started the most recent fitness craze that has spawned many imitations. His video tapes have sold millions and seem to be the trick to get people off their feet.
