Track Your Progress

A great way to track your eating and exercising habits is to buy a software program like ProTrack 99.  ProTrack has a workout log, exercise list, customizable workout templates, daily meal log, food item list, customizable meal templates, ability to generate workout, nutrition, and personal measurement & exercise progress reports, and much more.   You can input all your workouts and daily meal plans with drop-down menus.   You can add any exercise or food that is not listed.  You can analyze all your data as well with graphs and reports.  The ability to also chart your weight gain or loss is available.

Remember not to just enter your current weight.  Get your body fat and/or body measurements taken as well.  Muscle weighs more than fat, so body fat percentage and body measurements are a better picture of how you are doing.

Tracking your progress is a great way to keep yourself honest about your fitness routine.  It will keep you on your toes with your nutrition and exercise plan.  You can map out what you need to do to improve your health by what the graphs tell you.  The nutrition graphs will tell you what your average daily calorie intake is, your average saturated fat intake, and much more.   The exercise graphs will tell you how many sets, reps, total weight and more as well.  For more information on ProTrack 99, visit their website.
