Ready, Set, GO!
Phil Campbell's book focuses on Synergy Fitness, ten strategies to help
get you in peak condition. The strategies are based on raising
growth hormone (GH) levels naturally through specific activities such as
anaerobic training, "slow wave" sleep, healthy eating, and
strength training. His
approach is appealing. Each
chapter is short and concise, providing detailed information in a casual
tone. The first section is
a rather long explanation about growth hormone: what it does and how to
increase it naturally. The
next section covers structuring a fitness plan that includes
flexibility, endurance, anaerobic training, plyometric activities and
weight training. Each section has pictures & descriptions.
Overall, the exercise routine is solid and the book easy to
understand and will probably appeal to beginners.
However, like any other routine, it will need to be changed
regularly to avoid plateaus.
