Guide Review - demand FITNESS
I guess it's no surprise that, with the growth of technology, streaming video fitness is the next big thing and just one more way to exercise. demand FITNESS offers fitness classes, much like you'd see at a gym. Once you sign up (see package plans below), you fill out a health history questionnaire and a profile. You can either get customized programs or you can choose your own classes by browsing by type (including yoga, meditation, pilates, ballet, abs, body sculpting, strength workouts and cardio kickbox, just to name a few), fitness level (beginner, intermediate and advanced) or by training mode (e.g. flexibility, strength or endurance). Most classes are anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes (some are longer) and are taught by certified group fitness instructors. I previewed several classes and most seemed like quality workouts. The workouts I would gravitate to, like cardio kickbox, weren't my favorites. The advanced kickbox workout was taught at break-neck speed, didn't follow the music and didn't have great cueing...not one I would do again. The same instructor teaches other cardio classes, many of which had the same cueing and rhythm problems, so not every class will work for you. But, the workouts can be previewed, so take advantage of that and see if the classes and instructors appeal to you before you sign up. The fees are reasonable-$14.99/month, $4.99/week or a daily pass for $.99. Whichever you choose, you get unlimited access, which is a great deal.
