My Review

I've always been a fan of Polar heart rate monitors, but they offer so many different kinds with so many bells and whistles, it can be confusing. I like the F6 because it's easy to set up and gives me just the information I want: a continuous reading of my heart rate, a calorie count for how many calories I'm burning during my workout and a zone chart to show me where I am in my target heart rate zone. I like that you can set your own upper and lower limits (which isn't always possible with other models) and that you can set an alarm to beep if you go above or below your limits. Last, I like that you get a weekly total showing you how many calories you burned, how many workouts you completed and how many hours you spent exercise. This is great information to have when you want to compare your results from week to week in a simple, easy-to-understand format.

There are times when I find it hard to get a reading and the buttons can be hard to push but, overall, this is a great heart rate monitor for general fitness goals.
