Week 1 Update

Well, a week has gone by already and what a week it's been! I suppose I should be feeling proud -- I did make all my goals -- but, boy, there's still a part of that thinks I should be doing more, even though I know that with the week I've had work-wise, I probably would have ended up skipping some workouts and totally derailing the workout train! I need to keep remembering that I will have to be vigilant when it comes to work and missing workouts. I just get too caught up in my work...

I also need to remember that November is all about starting off small, easing my body back into exercise and creating good habits. It's so easy to forget all this. (And do I have it written down somewhere where I can see it?? No! Maybe it would be a good idea! )

I did take some measurements on Sunday. Now, some people only do it once a month, and I'm certainly not expecting any big changes, if any, but as I've said before: I love numbers! LOL!

Unfortunately, this blogger doesn't seem to accept html! Arrgh! So I can't put the details in a table... Okay, here's what we'll do. First number in parentheses is the November 6th measurement; current measurement is next to it.

  • Body Fat: (32%) Same
  • Weight: (138lbs) 136lbs
  • Thigh: (23.5 inches) Same
  • Hips: (38.5 inches) Same
  • Calf: (12.5 inches) Same
  • Shoulder: (40 inches) Same
  • Waist: (30 inches) Same
  • Abdomen: (33 inches) Same

No surprise there! In terms of the 2lb weight loss, we'll see if it's the same next week. I was eating better this week. Who knows, right? But I'm feeling good and creating good habits. Tonight is yoga night -- and I'm actually looking forward to it, and didn't have to "schedule" it. My problem is exercising during the day. Maybe it's time to start walking at night?? I don't know, I love to get out in the sunshine, and it's warmer during the day...

Oh-oh, are those excuses coming out again?? I will learn! Really, I will! :-)
