But I'm Doing Well! (Or Am I...)
But when I look back at the past week, and if I'm really honest about it, I haven't been doing as well as I can. Let's see, was it the two chocolate bars that Terry brought into the house (evil, evil man!) that were sitting there, just waiting for me to snap off a quick piece throughout the day? Or maybe it was the pecan butter tart that I figured I was good about because I only had half a tart? Or maybe it was the "I'm having a bad day, need lots of tea, but I'm going to use sugar instead of sweetener" days that I had? (Oh, yeah, and what about the ice cream?? *sigh*)
A little thing here, a little thing there -- and whamo! -- it all adds up. Now, okay, maybe I am retaining water; it's been known to happen. But I think I'd be fooling myself if I believed that! I've lost focus because of stress, so now it's time to get back on plan. I'd like to up my exercise, too.
I've got lots of thinking and planning to do -- regroup, as it were; learn from my mistakes, gain experience, and move onward. (And tell Terry to stop bringing that stuff into the house!! LOL!)
