Oh, No! I've Got a Cold!

Ugh, ugh and ugh again! I've got a cold! Or should that be: I hab a code! Haven't had a cold in ages it seems -- a perk from working at home, I guess; don't run into too many viruses here! I'll blame Terry though -- he went back to work and got sick, and then gave it to me! LOL!

Well, I won't be going to the gym. There's just no way I want to be touching exercise equipment and getting other people sick. Luckily, I'm not coughing -- and let's hope it stays that way. I'd rather have a head cold than chest cold any day.

If I'm not feeling too miserable, I might do the pilates and yoga DVDs I have -- or maybe take a walk outside. That's something my doctor always recommends for colds: get outside a lot and the fresh air will loosen everything up. I did set up a humidifier in my workspace, and I plan on drinking this simple lemony concoction I make just because it makes me feel better -- plain old boiled water, lemon juice and ginger.

Paige has a great article dealing with this: Getting Through an Injury or Illness.

Hopefully, I'll remember to take her advice and ease myself back into a routine when I'm feeling better. I can just see myself trying too hard too "catch up" on what I've missed!
