Quiz: Is Exercise a Priority?

Wednesday February 28, 2007
Due to some problems with the Metabolism Quiz posted earlier, I've offered a different quiz for you to try while I make some changes. In this quiz, Is Exercise a Priority? you'll answer some questions about your life, schedule and priorities to find out where exercise ends up in your life. Is it on the top of your list or does it fall to the bottom? Take the quiz and find out.

Thats pretty dumb. The quiz said I needed to learn more, but didnt bother to tell me what I got right and what I missed. That is not too helpful!!

It would be helpful if the quiz led to explanations for each question’s “correct” answer rather than leaving the impression that all answers deemed correct may be unsubstantiated opinion, if indeed any correct answers exist at all.(IMHO)

I got sort of helpful results. Here they are:

Great job! You have a good understanding of how metabolism works and, more importantly, how your exercise and diet choices can affect your metabolism. The following resources offer more information about metabolism, exercise and weight loss:

* Total Energy Expenditure and the Metabolic Rate

Frank,
You eat all day and maintain the same weight for 14 years! Now why would you want to slow down your metabolism??

I also evidently did well on the test but I have no clue which questions, if any, were missed, or what areas of my knowledge need improvement.

This is the dumbest quiz I ever took online. I learned absolutely nothing because they don’t bother to tell you which answers you got wrong or what the right answers were. A waste of time.

Hi, guys! After reading the comments here, I realized I missed an important part of the quiz - providing information about correct and incorrect answers. Sometimes you miss the forest for the trees. I’ll be updating the quiz to include more detailed (and helpful) information. Thanks for the comments and I’ll let you know when the updated quiz is up. Sorry for the confusion! :-)

it’s pretty pointless to post a quiz without the answers at the end. I didn’t learn a damn thing.

This was a waste of my time! I did not get ANY results back at all! Not even a generalization like some others seemed to have received. I will not bother with this particular site again.

Chill out everyone… We ALL make mistakes. No need for nasty comments here. Why are people SO QUICK to judge? Maybe something went wrong, like an illness in the family, a death, etc.. WE dont know what others are feeling or why they do what they do. We shouldnt be so hasty to pass judgement. I would still take the test again, because I can and because my mind and body funtions will allow me, some are much less fortunate.
Those who think they`re perfect……. try walking on water!
