With so much going on this week - recovering from Christmas and preparing for the new year, I'm thinking a little relaxation is in order. Below are some of my favorite stretches for targeting the hips, lower back and your mind, which may need a little quiet time.
This is perhaps the most relaxing stretch because it's a lot like lying down for a nap. The idea is to let your entire body relax as you close your eyes and breath deeply. Hold for as long as you can.
