Cardio Focus: Variety

Variety is the spice of life and all that. Today, try something completely different or do one of the workouts I've listed below. Whatever you do, try to enjoy yourself, okay?

Option 1: Cardio on the BOSU
Option 2: Boot Camp workout
Option 3: Choose your own workout--maintain a steady pace for 25-45 minutes. Be sure to warm up, cool down and stretch at the end of your workout.

Nutrition Focus: Treat Yourself

You know what I love about Fridays? That's my treat day and I always have the same thing--pizza. I'm particularly fond of cheese pizza and sometimes I even put veggies on top to make it healthier. The point is, we all need treats and it's great to have something to look forward to, right? Today, treat yourself to something you love and enjoy every bite.

Motivation

Do you know how athletes stay motivated? One thing they do is visualization--they picture themselves going through a future race or event and winning. Visualization can help you too, even if you're not a professional athlete. What you do is picture yourself going through your entire workout--if you're walking, picture yourself walking the entire course in your mind all the way to the end. Imagine how you'll feel when you finish the workout. Picturing your success will help you make it happen.
