Guide Review - Exercise Explorer for Personal Trainers

Exercise Explorer software, for $179.95, provides a comprehensive way to manage personal training clients. Generate individualized workouts for your clients based on their goals with the easy-to-use workout wizard. You can create preset, automatic or manual workouts by choosing exercises from an extensive list and modifying sets, reps and/or duration of the exercises. The database includes strength training/flexibility exercises, but the cardio list only includes gym machines (*you can add and modify exercises). You can print workout cards (with pictures, if desired) for your clients and generate reports to track progress and performance. The resource component (by far the coolest part of this software) provides 117 muscle drawings, analysis of hundreds of exercises, videos of body actions and the ability to explore relationships between exercises. The only drawbacks are no print preview function and sketchy information in the help section (the included manual, however, provides more detailed information). Great buy!
