As an advanced exerciser, you've been working out for awhile. You've probably tried all kinds of activities and classes and reached many of your goals. Now is the time to keep your energy and enthusiasm up by trying new things, remembering why you work so hard to stay healthy and rewarding yourself for all you do. Below are some resources to help you try new things, spice up your workouts and know when it's time to take a break.

Cardio, Strength & Circuit for Advanced Exercisers

  • Boredom Busting Workouts. As an advanced exerciser, you have a lot going for you, starting with your ability to push yourself. Try these workouts to liven up your usual routine and really challenge yourself.
  • Cardio on the BOSU. Variety is one of the most important things you can do to keep you energy up. Try some cardio on the BOSU for a real challenge!
  • Boot Camp. Ready for even more of a challenge? This Boot Camp workout will really get you going.
  • Total Body Superset. Changing your method of training is a great way to shake things up. Try supersetting in your strength workouts to add intensity.
  • Pyramid for Upper Body. Pyramid training is another way to lift weights that will challenge your muscles in a new way.
  • Lower Body Pyramid Training. Don't forget your lower body!
  • Dynamic Abs. If you're tired of crunches (and I know you are), you're probably ready for something totally different. Try these advanced moves (like wood chips and ball pikes) to challenge your core in a whole new way.
