Guide Review - Travel Fit Kit
Business travel is big--just ask my husband (as soon as he gets back from his trip). Enter the Travel Fit Kit made exclusively for travelers. The kit includes 2 'Fit-Lastic' resistance bands, a customizable workout on CD, a quick-guide workout card and a travel pouch to keep it all together. The CD works through a Power Point Viewer (which you can download from the CD), so all you have to do is click to move from one page to another. I also like the fact that you don't have to install it onto your hard drive (unless you want to). The CD itself includes a customizable workout--the exercises for each body part are listed and you can pick and choose what you want to work, or start at the beginning and do all the exercises. Scroll through the introduction to get some instructions on how to use the bands, selecting exercises and tips for an effective workout (among other topics). Then head right for the workout of your choice--lower body, upper body or ab/back moves. The exercises are straightforward and include standard moves like squats, lunges, pushups, crunches and tricep extenstions. The exercises using the bands are simple and don't require any extras (like a door or column to attach it to). The kit also comes with a workout tracker to write down your workouts. Overall, this is a great resource for travelers--simple, easy to carry and easy to use. The only thing I'd love to see are more exercises so you have several choices for each muscle group.
